The main hall is full, and forty people are watching from the lobby. Or the speaker needs a confidence monitor at the podium showing exactly what the audience sees. Neither needs the internet — both just need a camera feed to move across the room.

What this actually requires

A camera feed reaching one or more screens on the same venue network, reliably.
Low enough latency that a confidence monitor doesn't feel delayed to the speaker.
A way for overflow-room viewers to watch without installing software on borrowed or venue-owned displays.
No dependency on venue internet, which is the least trustworthy utility in the building.

Option 1 — Cloud streaming (YouTube Live, etc.)

Works well for remote audiences outside the building, but is the wrong tool for a room forty meters away — it adds internet dependency, upload bandwidth requirements and streaming latency to a problem that's really just "move this feed across the hallway."

Option 2 — NDI / OBS
