1. Definitions

• “Cue Congress”, “we”, “us”: the operator of the Website and seller/licensor of the software.
• “Website”: our website and related online services.
• “Software”: Cue Congress applications and utilities (licensed under the EULA).
• “Subscription”: a time-limited right to use the Software during an active paid term (annual or monthly, depending on the plan).
• “License”: the rights granted to you under the EULA.

2. Accounts

If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Purchases, Billing, Renewals

When you purchase a Subscription, you authorize us (or our payment processors) to charge the applicable fees and taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period — yearly for most products, or monthly where a monthly plan is offered (for example CuePulse and EventSpin) — until you cancel.

Subscriptions: Your license remains active only while your subscription is paid and current. A “permanent subscription” should be understood as access during the active subscription period, not perpetual ownership.

Taxes/VAT: Prices may be subject to VAT or other taxes depending on your location and status.

License Types

All paid Cue Congress products are currently sold as subscription licenses (time-limited access, billed yearly or, where offered, monthly). Cue Congress may also offer other licensing models, such as lifetime licenses (one-time fee, perpetual use of the purchased version), for specific products in the future.

Free software and trials: some products are free (for example AV Pro Timer, NearHop, OneControl Remote and the free version of CueLink) and need no license. Many paid desktop products offer a free trial (currently 7 days) that ends automatically; no payment is taken for a trial.

Browser apps: CuePulse, EventSpin and AV Project run in your web browser and store the content you enter on our servers, as described in our Privacy Policy.

The applicable license type, duration, renewal terms, and included features are displayed at the time of purchase and during checkout. The Software itself is licensed under a separate End‑User License Agreement (EULA) presented during installation/first run.

4. Device Limits

Each license is intended for one (1) user. The number of devices permitted per license varies by product and by the specific plan you purchase — for example, a 1‑device or 2‑device plan for some products, and higher device-count plans for others. The exact device limit that applies to your purchase is shown at checkout and in your dashboard.

Using a license on more devices than your purchased plan allows, or sharing the license with other users, requires additional licenses or a higher-device plan, and may result in suspension. The detailed device counting rules and enforcement terms are defined in the EULA.

5. Delivery and Access

After purchase, we provide access to downloads, license keys, or account-based activation as applicable. You are responsible for ensuring your systems meet the software requirements and for maintaining backups of your data.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Refund policy: EU/EEA consumers may have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason. For digital content/software delivered electronically, this right may be lost once performance begins — for example, once you download, install, or activate the Software — if you expressly requested immediate performance and acknowledged the loss of withdrawal rights at checkout. Refunds are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Full details and how to request a refund are set out in our Refund Policy.

Cancellation: You may cancel auto-renew at any time; cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not itself refund the current paid term. Access continues until the end of the term you already paid for.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Website lawfully and not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts
• Disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Website
• Use the Website to distribute malware or unlawful content
• Misrepresent your identity or payment information

8. Intellectual Property

Website content, branding, and materials are owned by Cue Congress or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. The Software is licensed (not sold) under the EULA.

9. Disclaimers

The Website is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the Website will be error-free. The Software is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular live event, show, or broadcast. The Software warranty disclaimers are set out in more detail in the EULA.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cue Congress is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or commercial damages arising out of or related to your use of the Website or the Software.

Live-event use is entirely at your own risk and responsibility. Cue Congress software is a tool used by the customer to run their own event, show, conference, or broadcast. If the Software malfunctions, crashes, freezes, disconnects, produces an incorrect cue or timing, or otherwise fails to work as expected during a live event — for any reason — Cue Congress is not responsible or liable for any resulting damage, including lost revenue, cancelled or disrupted events, reputational harm, refunds owed to third parties, or any other direct or indirect loss. You are solely responsible for testing the Software under real conditions before your event, having a tested backup or contingency plan for anything mission-critical, and operating the Software correctly during the event. The Software’s full limitation of liability is defined in the EULA.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Website after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Courts of Athens, Greece shall have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.
